Moragh Paxton, one of this forum’s founding coordinators, sadly passed away peacefully on Thursday 6 October.
Moragh, will always be remembered for her sharp wit, warm smile and incisive questioning. She listened carefully and was always encouraging of new students and scholars entering the field of academic literacies. Moragh’s work and development around the concept of ‘interim literacies’ will remain a key means of understanding students’ transition into their disciplinary and academic fields. Her academic labour will continue to challenge those of us working in the field of student academic literacies development and support to continue to create more inclusive learning spaces in the university.

Rest well Moragh.
